Doula CARE Alliance offers quality birthing support and doula services to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. Our team is committed to the mission of providing birthing persons, families and Doulas access to the care and support they deserve and need.

We are a professional community doula agency who values Community, Advocacy, Respect, and Evidence-based effectiveness. Our experienced team helps families navigate the overwhelming process of birthing with professional care and support. We also serve as a community Doula staffing agency that provides quality childcare service to community Doulas and the clients that they serve. We provide nourishing meal train services to community Doulas for their clients and act as the administrative billing partner and trainer that processes billing for community Doulas that serve on the Michigan Medicaid registry at no cost to them. We teach and empower youth between the ages of 10 to 15 with the avoidance skills needed to plan for their future goals without an unplanned pregnancy. Our social community birthing clubhouse for our expecting birthing persons is a place to relax, receive blood pressure monitoring, socialize, receive a massage/snacks, and talk all things healthy baby!!! We provide holistic, culturally rooted care for every journey supporting high-risk pregnancy, honoring birth, nurturing the fourth trimester, and empowering community voices.

As a former NICU parent of a preemie baby, Young 5’s teacher and founder of the Doula C.A.R.E Alliance, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges families face—especially those navigating high-risk pregnancies and the fourth trimester. My work centers on empowering my community through advocacy, education, and holistic support. Our mission aligns powerfully with my values and experience, and I am eager to contribute to shaping policies and programs that reflect the lived realities of Kent County residents. My background includes strategic program management, maternal health outreach, and community leadership roles with NeighborWorks America (Dwelling Place Grand Rapids: Building Leaders Building Community) and TEAM 21 after-school and summer school programs.
